  1. Are there any contracts required to host with Flighthost?
    No, Flighthost.com does not require any contracts. Any customer may host with us on a monthly basis. Many of our customers switch to a contract after they become comfortable with us so that they can take advantage of our olnger term discounts.

  2. What type of domains can Flighthost handle?
    Flighthost's servers can host any accredited TLD. If it's a legal domain name we can host it!

  3. How long does it take to get an account set up?
    Accounts are set up within 20 minutes of the order being placed. You will receive a welcome email with your ip address, password and instructions on how to get started.

  4. Do you offer a money back guarantee?
    Yes, all new customers can take advantage of our no hassle 30 day money back guarantee. You can cancel for any reason within the first 30 days of service for a full refund of your web hosting fees.

  5. How long does it take to transfer a domain name?
    Domain transfers are usually completed by the originating registrar within 24-48 hours. You can access your account with the ip address until the transfer is complete. For more information on domain transfers please click here.

  6. How easy is it to upgrade an account later?
    You may upgrade or downgrade your account at any time by calling us or entering a support request.

  7. Can I pay by check?

  8. How does flighthost bill me?
    Our automated system will automatically send an invoice via email 30 days before payment is due. We will automatically charge your credit card on the due date and send a receipt via email.

  9. How easy is it to cancel if I want to?
    Of course we want our customers to stay with us forever but we realize that's not always possible. If you have a need to cancel your account simply fill out this form and we'll take care of the rest.

  10. Can I access my domain address with or without the "www"?
    Yes, you will be able to access the domain address with or without the "www" in front of the domain name.

  11. What do I need to do to set up an account?
    Simply signup with us by filling out a our online order form or call 1-800-850-5608 press 1 for the Sales Dept. We will then assist you in transferring an existing domain or registering for a new domain to be placed on our servers.

  12. Is Flighthost.com compatible with Macintosh systems?
    Yes, Most Macintosh users upload their files through the "Fetch" program or their design software. You can also use any of the popular email clients to access your email.

  13. Can I resell my space as subdomains?
    We only allow one website per ip address. You can have pointed domains but we do not allow the sharing of web space. If you are interested in becoming a reseller please look at the opportunities we have to offer.

  14. How much is extra bandwidth and/or storage space?
    Bandwidth costs $10/gig per month with a 20 gig limit. Additional disk space is available for $5/month for each extra 20 megabytes up to 500 meg total.

  15. What is virtual hosting?
    Virtual Hosting allows a company or individual to lease part of a server to store their website's data, rather than pay for an entire machine with more space than they need.

  16. What version of PHP does Flighthost support.
    All new accounts are set up on a server with PHP version 4. We constantly work to maintain the latest stable version of this and all other software on our server
